Our vision and invitation
We are a community of believers whose desire is to spread the message of salvation and new life through Jesus Christ to people of all races and nationalities. Our church is a ministry that is helping others know who our Lord and Savior really is. We invite you to join us in sharing the unsearchable riches of Christ together - the healing, reconciliation, joy, peace, and understanding that comes from having a true relationship with God.
Why cornerstone?
Our church name "Cornerstone" is derived from a passage of the Bible that declares Jesus Christ as the chief component of the church's foundation:
"See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame." - 1 Peter 2:6
The meaning of our motto
Our motto is to "preach the unsearchable riches of Christ" in that we believe that God outpours blessings on those who follow Christ. We also believe that God blesses us in far greater ways than we can possibly imagine.
The ministry
We offer various activities for spiritual guidance and growth, particularly in studying the Bible together and engaging in group prayer. We are especially interested in teaching the basics of Christianity (who Christ is, salvation, and other subjects) to those who are new to the faith.

A Christian Ministry for Media Artists
Cornerstone is in partnership with New York City Relief, Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and support overseas missionaries. The New York City Relief is a mobile ministry that operates from a bus that delivers food and clothing to the needy and homeless in various locations throughout the New York Metro area.
Activities: Monthly outreach in the South Bronx with NYCR, our annual Love Banquet, Caroling
Fellowship and worship
We gather together twice a week - on Sundays for worship and praise and hearing the pastor's sermon, and on Fridays for worship, studying the Bible, and praying for people. Presently, we have three campus ministries and are in the process of forming Cornerstone blocks or fellowship groups throughout the Metro area.
Activities: Informal gatherings, picnics, seasonal day trips (skiing, water water rafting)
