Manhattan Cornerstone Presbyterian Church will gather on Friday evening, September 11, 2026 at sunset (8:00 PM EDT) for one of the most sacred and defining events of our church calendar: the New Year’s Eve Service on Erev Rosh Hashanah.
This consecrated gathering marks the threshold between Jewish civil years, offering our congregation a profound spiritual juncture to reflect upon the Lord’s faithfulness throughout 5786 and to look forward with holy expectation into 5787.
As one of the biggest and most joyous milestones of our ministry, the service will center on two foundational spiritual practices:
1. Living Testimonies of Faith: Members from across our English and Korean congregations will take the pulpit to give personal testimony to God’s miraculous intervention, supernatural healing, answered prayers, and covenantal grace experienced throughout 5786.
2. Receiving New Annual Verses from God: In solemn prayer and expectancy, each individual and family will receive a newly dedicated annual Scripture verse from God—a prophetic promise and guiding compass for the year ahead.
